Ned’s Roasted Wild Salmon, Green Chickpea & Basil Hummus


Ingredients

  • .5 Pounds
    green chickpeas
  • 1 Pound
    basil
  • 3
    garlic cloves
  • .5 Cups
    pine nuts (substitute with walnuts, cashews, hazelnuts or almonds)
  • 3 Cups
    extra virgin olive oil (substitute with organic canola or camelina oil)
  • .5 Cups
    parmesan cheese, grated
  • 3 Tablespoons
    sea salt
  • 2 Tablespoons
    cracked black pepper
  • 1
    whole lemon

Instructions

  1. Puree all these ingredients in a high-speed blender.

  2. Check for seasoning and adjust with sea salt and black pepper.
